CMD#16 2 round results

Hi Guys,

Lets get those comments in by Tuesday evening – the draft is taking center stage in the NFL world now that the SB is completed, and I’m expecting high-of-year traffic on Wednesday!  Follow the previously discussed guidelines – if your comment is 3-4 weeks old (for the same player), please come up with a new angle or some stats or something.   Often when I am looking for soemthing to say, I will go to Yahoo NFL-Statistics and come up with some indo showing that team X ranks in the bottom third (or whatever) is some statistic which then justifies the selection.

“Draft Season” enters full gear after the Super Bowl, so lets be sure and do a great job on the CMD this week and it promises to be the highest traffic week yet!

Team Needs, Grabs, Lockouts, and PAIRs due on Monday same time as usual.

CMD#14 Team Needs due Monday Jan 25th at 9pm Pacific

CMD#14 follows the regular weekly schedule.   We have a revised Big Board that shows quite a bit of player movement, so that should mix up the CMD results quite a bit.

The Current Grab List is shown below, I will leave the list intact unless specifically specified to remove a player or players.  Be advised that the new bulletin board shows certain players slipping quite a  bit in theor overall rankings, so you may find that your team has a 1st round grab on a 2nd (or 3rd) round player . . .

Howdy Guys,

Please enter any Team Needs, Grabs or Lockouts for CMD#13.  Due Date Monday evening 9pm Pacific.  We’re probably entering a time where most of your team needs will not be changing much on a week to week basis, at least until the Free Agency period begins.

However, from reading the message boards, I know that fans of the same teams can be quite polarized on which are the most important draft needs.  So feel free to change to “plan B” for a few weeks to throw those other fans a bone every now and then.

CMD#12 2 round results – Comments by Tuesday 1/12 at 9pm PST

Howdy guys!   Below are the results of CMD#12.   We had lots of grabbing going on for Rolando McClain (not Rolondo) – highest bidder was KC at the #5 overall.

And we opted to slot Tim Tebow to JAX to fulfill the prophecy.   CJ Spiller did indeed fall to R2, although not as far as Seattle.  And the OTs for the most part did not command premiums.

BTW it will be helpful to type in your your name and title after each comment (i.e. “-Joe Mays (Drafttek Dolphins Analyst)”).   I find myself having to manually type this info for most of you – quite time consuming with 64 comments.  Thx!
